December 6, 2006, five overseas medical equipment makers visited Shizuoka, and attempted a business matching.　

"Foreign Company Invitation Local Business Group Support Project" which JETRO is on campaign in Shizuoka Prefecture. Five people from five such makers visited Shizuoka,

two from France, and one each from Germany, Switzerland and Singapore.

In Shizuoka Prefecture, a seminar took place in Shizuoka Cancer Center's research building to introduce Shizuoka, after then, each one of them visited a relevant company in Shizuoka to his/her company business and a business matching was demonstrated there.

Any of the five companies seemed impressed with Japan's market for sale, but the location for their business base because of a prepared industrial environment and convenient access.
