December 6, 2006 Five overseas medical equipment-related companies visited
Shizuoka Prefecture and attempted Business Matching.
As a part of "Foreign-Affiliated Firm Attraction Program" which
is promoted by JETRO,
five people from five overseas medical equipment-related companies visited
Shizuoka Prefecture.
Two of them from France, one each from Germany, Switzerland, and Singapore.
After a Shizuoka-introductory seminar held at a laboratory in the Shizuoka
Cancer Center,
each of the participating companies was escorted to same business category enterprises
and Business Matching was conducted.
They are not only interested in the market in Japan but they intend to
establish a base to
penetrate it because of good industrial environment and convenient access.
