A Korean travel agency established a branch office in Shizuoka City, January 19, 2009.　

January 19, 2009 (Monday), the South Korean travel agency "New Seoul High-Speed Sightseeing" (head office in Soul, president Mr. 曺命熙) established a branch office at the center of Shizuoka city (Showa-cho Aoi-ku) and held an opening ceremony inviting many people from related entities.
New Soul High-Speed Sightseeing is a land operator which arranges hotels, transportation, and sightseeing, etc. for the tourists traveling from Japan to Korea. Japanese travel agencies will be the major business partner.
Under the current economy circumstance including won depreciation, the number of tourists heading for Korea is increasing rapidly, and which works as a tailwind for the embarkation of the newly opened office.
Subsequently to the advance of Hikari Tour to Shizuoka, this is the second attempt for a Korean tourism body to place an office in Shizuoka along with the soon-opening Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport.
